Vikash Kalra

Vikash Kalra (b. 1973, Delhi) is a self-taught contemporary Indian artist renowned for his expressive abstract paintings and sculptures. Initially trained in commerce at Delhi University, Kalra transitioned from a business career to art, driven by an intrinsic need to express the ineffable through visual mediums. His works are deeply intuitive, often exploring themes of identity, spirituality, and human emotion.

Influenced by masters like Pablo Picasso and F.N. Souza, Kalra’s art is characterized by fluid forms and a vibrant palette, aiming to capture the unseen emotional undercurrents of existence.
